Here is a great post from our friends at Zoom...
Gartner has named Zoom a Leader in the 2016 Magic Quadrant for Web Conferencing. This is the second time Zoom has appeared in the Gartner Magic Quadrant; we received Visionary status in last year’s report.
The criteria used by analyst firm Gartner to evaluate companies selected for the Magic Quadrant evaluation included completeness of vision and ability to execute. This report evaluated fourteen vendors across a range of criteria and positioned Zoom as a Leader in relation to other market services.
“We are honored to receive this recognition from Gartner and to be placed in the leader’s quadrant,” said Eric S. Yuan, Zoom’s Founder and CEO. “Over 350,000 business customers and millions of happy users know that Zoom is the industry leader. With our enterprise-grade video collaboration suite that solves their need to connect dispersed teams on-the-go and in their conference rooms, Zoom is the scalable, secure, and easy answer for organizations around the world. We put our customers first, and it shows in our rapid growth, best-in-class product suite, industry-leading net promoter score of 69, and now in reports from top analysts.”
With 215% growth in usage last year, Zoom is on track to host 15 billion annual meeting minutes with major growth in enterprise cloud collaboration. Zoom’s innovative and cost-effective solutions meet the needs of today’s workforce with web and video conferencing on desktop, mobile, and in conference rooms. Zoom attributes its leadership and growth to its ability to innovate quickly, while providing a reliable service that is simple to use. The company goes beyond serving the needs of end-users, while also serving the needs of IT with a flexible, scalable platform that is easy to deploy and manage.
